Fun Social Distancing Activities for your kids:

Treasure Hunt:

1. Create a treasure hunt. This can be indoors or outdoors.

2. Hide a handful of items around the house/garden for the children to find.

3. Follow a different theme each day. E.g. an object with wheels, animals/insects, fairies, something round, anything yellow, etc

4. It might be a good idea to tie a bow on toys or leave some sort of identifier on the object otherwise it may be hard to identify the "treasures" you’ve left amongst items the kids have lying around.

5. Alternatively, you could leave it up to the kids interpretation of what a "treasure" is. This could involve some interesting discussions.

6. We love our Woven mini round baskets for collecting treasure, but of course an empty box or container could be used too. 

7. Once your children return with their basket of treasures, discuss the items and where they found them. You could even draw a map and mark the treasures on the map.
